About the Colour City Caravan Park

The Colour City Caravan Park is a 3.5-star facility located next to the Showground in East Orange. Covering an area of more than one acre, the Caravan Park currently has 8 permanent residents, 16 overnight cabins, 45 powered van sites and sees close to 10,000 people passing through each year.

Jobs/Responsibilities

As a Caravan Park Officer you will be responsible for providing customer service to patrons of the Colour City Caravan Park and to provide support to the Colour City Caravan Park Supervisor in carrying out duties associated with the efficient management of the Park. This includes:

  • Communicating with Park residents and patrons in person, via phone or by electronic means in securing bookings for a range of accommodation
  • Perform financial reconciliations of daily takings in line with recorded bookings and receipting
  • Daily inspections to facilitate maintenance and cleanliness of the Park and its facilities
  • Offer advice to patrons of the park in order to promote Orange and the region as an attractive tourism destination, with a high level of customer service

Skills/Experience

To be successful in this position you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role including customer service or the tourism industry
  • High level communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in administration and office duties
  • Ability to gain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check
