Jobs/Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a part time Cleaner to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the Colour City Caravan Park in a clean and tidy state. This includes:

• Cleaning of communal areas including the amenities block, kitchen and the office.
• Complete clean and restocking of the cottages and cabins
• Ensuring the Caravan Park and grounds are clean and tidy at all times
• Operation of cleaning equipment
• Ensure cleaning stock/product levels are maintained

Shifts are 3 hours long, from 10am to 1pm. While casual positions will also be considered, the part time roster will be:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Skills/Experience

To be successful in this position you will need:

• A keen eye for detail
• A genuine desire to provide excellent cleaning support and a pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanness
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• First Aid Certificate (or ability to acquire within 3 months of commencement
• Previous experience as a cleaner in a Holiday Park or similar within the Tourism Industry will be highly regarded
• Certificate II in Cleaning Operations, other relevant qualification, or equivalent industry experience will be highly regarded

About the Colour City Caravan Park

The Colour City Caravan Park is a 3.5 star facility located next to the Showground in East Orange. Covering an area of more than one acre, the Caravan Park currently has 4 permanent residents, 14 overnight cabins, 45 powered van sites and sees close to 10,000 people passing through each year.
