We have two exciting opportunities to join our Customer Service team:

  • Permanent Part-Time: 3 days per week – Monday, Tuesday & Friday (7.25 hrs/day, 21.75 hrs/week)
  • Temporary Part-Time: 3 days per week – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (7.25 hrs/day, 21.75 hrs/week), temporary until February 2027

About the Roles
As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our community, delivering exceptional service across multiple channels. Your responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assisting with applications for Council services (e.g., rates, animal registrations, permits).
  • Processing development applications and payments in line with Council policies.
  • Maintaining accurate records in the customer request system.

What You Need

  • Certificate III in Administration, Customer Service or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Well-developed computer literacy skills (Customer Request Systems highly regarded).
  • Proven effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
