Weekly Hours: 35 (Flexible Working Arrangements Available)
Weekly Salary: $1, 307.86 - $1,425.57 (plus superannuation)

As Creditors Officer, you’ll play a key role in our small, dedicated team. Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Lead, you’ll work together to manage the Council’s accounts payable and maintain reliable relationships with our creditors.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing Core Payments: Processing invoices and statements to ensure timely payments for major accounts.
  • Maintaining Data Integrity: Keeping the Name and Address Register (NAR) accurate and secure by verifying creditor details through the EFTSure portal.
  • Collaborating on Reconciliations: Supporting the team with statement reconciliations and payment reports (EFT and Cheque runs) to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handling Card Statements: Managing the end-to-end reconciliation and processing of Council credit card statements.
  • Improving Processes: We encourage proactive thinking—you'll have the opportunity to review our current systems and recommend practical ways to improve efficiency.
