About the role

Orange City Council is seeking a capable and motivated Construction Engineer to join our Works team. In this role, you will support the Manager Works and Works Engineer in delivering civil maintenance and construction works across roads, drainage and footpaths. This is a great opportunity to contribute to essential community infrastructure while building your career in a supportive local government environment.

To be successful in this role, you will bring a blend of technical knowledge, practical experience and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes for the community. You will ideally have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or the ability to acquire
  • Current Class C driver’s licence
  • Experience in a similar role including the supervision of construction and maintenance works relating to public works engineering
