Hourly Rate: $36.28 - $39.54 (Plus superannuation)
Hours: Temporary Part Time (flexible work options available)
Note: Minimum requirement for part time is 3 days per week (22.5 hours).

Primarily and initially assisting our payroll team, you'll play a crucial role in processing payroll data, analysing reports, and providing vital information related to employment conditions and legislation. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are crucial. Over time there is the ability to assist with recruitment and administration.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
- Assist to ensure timely and accurate inputting of the fortnightly payroll within the pre- determined timeframes
- Assist in accurate processing of payroll, payroll maintenance and analysing reports
- Assist with calculation of resignation/retirement in accordance with relevant legislation and employment entitlements
- Assist in the calculation and payment of Superannuation and Taxation payments
- Effectively maintaining recruitment data and assist with recruitment processes.
- Assisting the People and Culture team in the maintenance of employee data and records.
This role is a combination of two roles that both have some vacant hours, the Recruitment Support Officer and a Payroll Officer. A full list of responsibilities can be found in the Position Descriptions (this links will work on Council's website)
What do you need?
- Certificate IV in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritisation of workload
- Demonstrated knowledge of computerised finance/payroll systems
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal record check
