Job/Responsibilities

Council is currently looking for dynamic customer focused leader to join the Tourism team as a Visitor Information Centre (VIC) Supervisor. With over 60,000 people walking through the doors each year, the VIC is the front-door to the Orange region, and helps visitors discover the incredible experiences on offer.

The role will be responsible for leading the team in providing outstanding customer service and excellent advice to visitors to the Orange region, and promoting and developing the VIC’s retail offering.

Interested?

To be successful in this position you must:

  • Hold a Diploma in Leadership or suitable experience
  • Obtain a satisfactory criminal record check
  • Able to foster a positive culture of service excellence
  • Have aptitude to demonstrate effective leadership, and experience managing a staff roster
  • Passion and knowledge of the Orange region
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to interact with people from a broad customer base
  • Experience in retail viewed favourably
